Periods like now when you want to rip someone's head off is the perfect time to put headphones and let the soothing balm known as music take over. Logic would dictate to reach for your Ben Howard or VAULTS or other beautiful calming sounds as such, but no, we (and apparently scientific studies!) say play the loudest song from Royal Blood, Marilyn Manson and so on... You know what? Don't bother, we did the hard work of choosing for you already. Just crank up the volume and relax...
Sometimes, the only way to know if you've had a good week is by knowing what songs were stuck in your head each day during that week. They are the ones that let you know if it's been a good week (house, funk), or a bad week (sappy, romantic). No matter what kind of song was in earworming it's way into your brain, one thing is for sure, it got you through yet another week. Have a listen at how our week has been...

Another week, another 5 earworms. This week, one oldie sneaked into our head (and the Top 5) and stayed there for quite some time. But it's no biggie. It's been quite some time since we've had a good countdown and lately I was feeling a bit nostalgic, going through songs that made my childhood awesome, music wise. Though I was born in the 80's (no need to be specific!) it was 90's music that most influenced me. Songs that you couldn't escape, artists that were either huge or one hit wonders. Bottom line, the music was good and those were the days.
I was able to sum them up and pick the top 5 that usually come to my mind when I think about those childhood classics. For those of you who are 25 and up, I know this will bring a smile to your face. |
