Another week has gone by, a very nice week at that, and like every single time, we had our daily tune, stuck in our heads. Having us exasperating everyone around us, repeating the same part of the song over and over again, all that with a smile on our face. Without further ado, here are the 5 responsible of our annoying ways, there is something for everyone this week...
Alesso's latest single, 'Heroes' featuring the very talented Tove Lo is our first pick. At the very same time we are writing this post, we also are singing out loud the chorus to this very catchy tune. Especially now that the official video has come out yesterday. If we thought that the craze had past, this video has brought it all back. | Quite different from the previous EDM, The Lumineers are leaning more towards the folksy genre. "Scotland" is not be super mega popular, but it might as well be, because once it starts, you can not get rid of it. And the deliciously irritating part is that you just keep singing: 'They all need something to hold on to/They all mean well' over and over again |
We are aware that we've sung Ben Howard's praises many times before, but when a song is as good as "I Forget Where We Were", it's hard not to. It's not been the only Ben Howard tune stuck in our head this week, but we had to make a (tough) decision about which one to post and here we are: over 4 minutes of pure bliss, that will relax you to your very core. | On the other end of the music spectrum from our previously mentioned artist is Childcare. Grungy, rock and awesome. Every single Ed Cares's songs is amazing. This particular cover of Blondie's "Hanging On The Telephone" is so good it's really hard to get rid of. It can either drive you mad, or make you really happy. |
| If you are a frequent reader of the blog, you are aware of our love of Josef Salvat. And though we'd mentioned "Shoot And Run" before, we are counting him as one of our Earworms of the week, because, let's be honest, it's easy to stop singing and swaying to the chorus of the hauntingly beautiful tune. You just have to go with it. |
