When you make a comeback, it has to be big, or else what's the point? No comeback is complete without the perfect soundtrack. Could you imagine making an entrance to some generic pop song stripped of any personality? Neither could we. So, while we were planning our return, we happened to come across a new sound that would be so cool, you'd almost forget we were gone.
Honduras hails from Brooklyn, the noisy quartet has been honing their (very impressive) set of skills quietly for the past three years to get it just right for next Fridays (25th of September) release of their debut album "Rituals". By no means does this mean that their previous tracks were bad. Far from it.
They have the "don't-give-a-shit-let's-have-fun attitude that garage punk was created for. The songs are short but have impact, they do not need unnecessary or excessive embellishment they get to the point, which is to have you jumping, headbanging or any other classic rock dance move you have in mind.
One thing we should add before letting you experience the tunes for yourself is, turn up the volume, because this was made to be heard live or loud.
